Spanning the 20th and 21st centuries, this workshop features fashion newsreels, commercials, fashion films, video lookbooks, film trickeries, and live image projections. From the beginning of the 20th century when the camera entered into the design studios, to contemporary collaborations between fashion designers and filmmakers, the programme investigates the many ways in which fashion designers have used the new technologies of moving image.
