Mary Barone

Mary is a writer and photographer covering art, architecture and fashion. For over ten years, she’s been a contributing editor at ZINGmagazine and projects include Gay Sex in the ‘70s, still photographs by Tom Bianchi from the film by Joe Lovett and Come Play with Me, a collaboration with Zac Posen and Alexandra Posen.

Mary has been a contributor to ARTNET magazine since 1995 and her page Out With Mary appears regularly on the site. She is currently consulting with otherCRITERIA, a UK-based publishing house, on various art-based publications. Mary has split her time between New York and London since 1990.
