George Barker

George Barker is an environmental educator and consultant based at the University of the Arts London. His research centres around life cycle assessment, environmental injustice, and media ethics. At UAL, Barker leads an award-winning Carbon Literacy programme, teaching laterally across fields of fashion, media, and product, graphic, and spatial design. He has previously held positions at ScreenSkills and Picturehouse Cinemas, and has worked internationally as an archivist and curator for LIMA Amsterdam and ZKM Karlsruhe. He is a co-founder of the UAL Climate Emergency Network.
