Chop Suey

Weber’s look at fashion and photography is unpredictable, startling and exciting. Part self-portrait, part documentary, the film is based on his discovery of a young male model. As a whole, it offers an autobiographical and self-reflexive mix covering Weber's key themes: photography, filmmaking and collecting.

Weiseman applies a cool, understated view of the documentary observer. In Model he examines the intersection of fashion, business, advertising, photography, television and fantasy, navigating through the working lives of models at a New York agency.
